Inspired by grandma, you can now enjoy the delicious taste of cinnamon buttermilk biscuits filled with delicious raisins and topped with a sugar icing. To make it easy, we include the raisins and icing in the package to make it a complete mix. All you have to add is water. The packages includes 10 ounces of biscuit mix, 2 ounces of raisins and 2 ounces of icing mix. Directions for making easy southern cinnamon raisin biscuits: preheat oven to 450 degrees. Pour mix and raisins in a bowl and add 3/4 cup of water. Mix using as few strokes as possible to moisten dough. Drop portions of dough onto lightly greased baking pan. Place in oven and cook for 10 to 12 minutes or until done. Mix packet of powdered sugar topping mix with 1 to 2 tbs of water or milk and apply a thin coat to the top of biscuits. Eat’em while they’re warm. The yield is 10 to 12 biscuits.
